Call it a mid-life crisis, a check off the bucket list, a retirement gift, a stupid human trick or maybe even a Forrest Gump wannabe. Whatever you call it, I am riding my bicycle across the United States this summer following the TransAmerica Trail. Starting in Astoria, OR and finishing in Yorktown, VA, I am planning to take two months to complete this road trip.
Accompanying me on this trip are several family members and friends each taking turns driving the "Cousin Eddie Mobile".Stay tuned throughout the summer to get updates of my progress and any adventures or misadventures I encounter.
